Our firm’s foundation stems from the distinguished career of our founder, a University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras graduate who has dedicated more than 35 years to the field of Public Accounting. Beginning his career in 1983, he gained extensive experience in both local and national firms, including Horwath International (formerly Laventhol & Horwath) and Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young), working with small businesses, mid‑sized companies, and multinational clients.

In January 1990, he established his own CPA practice—an endeavor grounded in personalized service, technical excellence, and a vision for long‑term client partnerships. Driven by sustained growth, exceptional client trust, and an expanding service portfolio, this practice evolved into M & R CPA Services, PSC in 2001.

Throughout his career, he has been a trusted advisor to businesses and individuals throughout Puerto Rico, providing comprehensive solutions in accounting, auditing, and both State and federal taxation. His professional credentials include membership in the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examiner designation, and affiliations with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Financial Planning Association. These credentials reflect a commitment not only to technical expertise, but also to ethical practice, continuous education, and high-quality client service.

Antonio Delgado Colón, CPA, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus, earning a BBA with a Major in Accounting in 2002. Shortly after completing his degree, he began his professional career in public accounting in November 2002 with the firm of Arturo Morales Padró, CPA, where he received his foundational training and exposure to complex accounting and compliance matters. He has been a proud member of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants since 2004.

Over the past 20 years, Antonio has steadily expanded his professional expertise across several key disciplines, including financial auditing, business management consulting, and taxation at both the Puerto Rico and federal levels. This multidisciplinary background allows him to approach each client engagement with an integrated, whole perspective—recognizing the interconnected nature of operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision‑making.
